Let us introduce you to the Tohatsu 115 TLDI® (Two-Stroke Low-Pressure Direct Injection), the largest model available in the Tohatsu line of outboards. The 115 is a lightweight 4-cylinder air-assisted direct injection powerhouse that provides quick accelleration and exceptional fuel economy. This engine provides a perfect source of power for a wide variety of applications. Whether you're a recreational boater in search of power for your pleasure craft or a commerical fisherman looking for a rugged outboard, the Tohatsu 115 TLDI® is the right choice for you.

The Tohatsu 115 TLDI® is controlled by a 32 bit ECU (Engine Control Unit). The ECU gives precise fuel injection instructions in accordance to the operating conditions detected by the multiple sensors located throughout the engine. This powerful TLDI® outboard provides an almost complete burn drastically reducing emissions while maintaining the quality and durability that has become associated with all Tohatsu outboards.

The Tohatsu 115 TLDI® has a long list of standard features including some very unique features not found on other brand outboards. Some new features include an adjustable idle/trolling speed setting with three rpm ranges which allows you to select the ideal operating speed for maneuvering in a variety of current and wind conditions, and an onboard self-diagnosing system with engine monitoring of vital oil, temp, and voltage systems.

Idle Noise Reduction System
The exhaust gases and sound at idle are routed through a labyrinth exhaust sytem. This process reduces the noise level to a minimum when exiting through the idle port.
