Product Overview: TOHATSU 20hp

The NEW Tohatsu 20hp is here! The Tohatsu 20hp 4-Stroke has a terrific horsepower-to-weight ratio and provides reliable power for a variety of boating applications. The 20hp Tohatsu is the largest 2-cylinder engine in our lineup. An increased bore, tuned intake system and stepped up features like increased carburetion and modified cam shaft provide additional horsepower over our 15hp and 18hp models for superior performance.

The 20hp Tohatsu includes features like a CD ignition system, automatic choke, auto-by-starter system, and a decompression device located on the recoil that work in harmony to provide quick and easy dependable starting. The gear shift selector and steering friction lever are located at the front of the engine for ease of operation and maximum maneuverability. A canister style oil filter allows for hassle-free maintenance.

The steering friction lever, located on the front of the engine, allows steering friction to be adjusted for steady running at high speeds as well as easier maneuvering for trolling.
