TOHATSU 25hp EFI Overview:

With Tohatsu’s reputation for powerful outboards and unmatched reliability, the Tohatsu 25 hp EFI 4-stroke is sure to keep boaters loyal. Tohatsu's new electronic fuel injected 25hp provides a quick throttle response, excellent fuel economy and smooth operation throughout the rpm range.

The 16 bit onboard ECU (engine control unit) precisely controls the fuel injection and ignition timing for optimum performance. A tuned intake manifold generates increased low and mid speed torque while providing quieter operation. A tubular structure in the motor cover air-intake, originally developed by Tohatsu, helps the necessary flow of air reach the engine while preventing water intrusion.

With all of the features you need to make your motoring on the water the most, this engine gives what it promises: powerful performance, advanced features, and exceptional fuel economy. The 25hp EFI 4-stroke is an excellent choice for a wide variety of marine craft.


Electronic Fuel Injection
The Tohatsu 25 and 30hp outboards now have the industry's first battery-less electronically controlled fuel injection that provides quick throttle response, excellent fuel economy, and smooth operation throughout the rpm range.


Tubular Cowling Air-Intake
The tubular structure of the air-intake, originally developed by Tohatsu, helps to take in necessary airflow to the engine while preventing water from entering into the motor cover.
