Product Overview: TOHATSU 6hp

The 6hp four-stroke is the largest single cylinder outboard offered by Tohatsu providing an excellent hp to weight ratio. This mighty engine packs a lot of power in a small package. As one of our best selling models, the 6hp provides all the power boaters need while motoring a small craft. The Tohatsu 6hp offers advanced features such as Digital CD Ignition provide easier engine starting, quicker throttle response, and smooth trolling. The recoil starter has been designed with a larger reel making starting quicker and easier.

Like our 4hp and 5hp, the Tohatsu 6hp also offers greatly reduced vibration for smooth stable running at all engine RPMs as well as through the prop exhaust for quiet operation. This engine is constructed of high grade marine aluminum alloy and has standard features such as sacrificial zinc anodes for ultimate protection against corrosion.

With all these features available and offered at a such a low price the Tohatsu 6hp is a true value for every boater. It is no wonder this model has received such much attention and praise worldwide!
