Overview: |
The Tohatsu 70 TLDI® (Two-Stroke Low-Pressure
Direct Injection) has exactly what all boaters
need for their hull: loads of power without
the additional weight! Loaded with many
of the same features found on the Tohatsu
90 hp, the 70 TLDI® is the perfect choice
when you need just a little less horsepower.
Perfect for a wide range of applications
including mid-size center console fishing
hulls, pontoon/deck boats, bass boats, skiffs,
aluminum utility hulls and more!
The
Tohatsu 70 TLDI® has a long list of
standard features including some unique
features not found on other brands. An adjustable
idle/trolling speed setting with three
rpm ranges allows you to select the ideal
operating speed for maneuvering in a variety
of current and wind conditions.
The Tohatsu 70 TLDI® is controlled by
a 32
bit ECU (Engine Control Unit). The ECU
gives precise fuel injection instructions
in accordance to the operating conditions
detected by the multiple sensors located
throughout the engine. The
70 hp provides incredible oil and fuel savings
ranging from 12% to 71% depending on RPM.
The 70hp TLDI achieves this by utilizing
an air-assisted direct fuel injection system
to precisely mix air and fuel. This powerful
TLDI® outboard provides an almost complete
burn to reduce emissions while maintaining
the quality and durability that has become
associated with Tohatsu outboards. Let us

Easy Maintenance: The TLDI®
line of outboards are designed to be simple
and have fewer components that need maintenance
or service. TLDI® model engines do not
require oil filter replacements or valve
