| TOHATSU 90hp TLDI®
Overview: |
The 90 TLDI® is one of the premier members
of Tohatsu's new generation of direct injection
outboards. Similar
to our 70
TLDI®
model, the 90
TLDI® shares
the same engine block but features an upgraded
ECU (Engine Control Unit) for increased
horsepower and enhanced performance. Tohatsu's
award-winning TLDI engines are powered by
a direct fuel injection system and the 32
bit ECU gives precise fuel injection
instructions in accordance to the operating
conditions detected by the multiple sensors
located throughout the engine.
The
Tohatsu 90 TLDI® has a long list of
standard features including some unique
features not found on other brands. An adjustable
idle/trolling speed setting with three
rpm ranges allows you to select the ideal
operating speed for maneuvering in a variety
of current and wind conditions. And an onboard
self-diagnosing system monitors vital oil,
temp, and voltage systems.
The 90hp TLDI® provides incredible oil
and fuel savings ranging from 12% to 71%
depending on RPM. The 90hp TLDI achieves
this by utilizing an air-assisted direct
fuel injection system to precisely mix air
and fuel. This powerful TLDI® outboard
provides an almost complete burn greatly
reducing emissions while maintaining the
quality and durability that has become associated
with all Tohatsu outboards. Let us install

Easy Maintenance: The TLDI®
line of outboards are designed to be simple
and have fewer components that need maintenance
or service. TLDI® model engines do not
require oil filter replacements or valve
adjustments as compared with similar hp
four-stroke outboards.
